& Code of Conduct
A neat and tidy appearance sets an attitude of attentiveness and respect for students, teacher, and the art of dance. Teachers must be able to see the dancer's body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, etc. It’s important for students abide by the following dress code policy:
Hair must be properly secured and tied up off of the face and neck for all styles of dance.
No jewelry is allowed except for stud earrings. Loose and dangling jewelry is dangerous to yourself and others.
Gum chewing is not allowed due to danger of choking.
Only water is allowed in Dance City. No other beverages.
No cell phones allowed in studio classroom.
No running or yelling.
2, 3, and 4 year old classes: pink tights and leotards are highly encouraged.
5 and up classes: dancer must wear black leotards and neutral tights or black camis dance shorts and pants.
