Patty TacketT

Patty Tackett is the owner of Dance City Studio, which she founded in 1999. She received her Bachelors from the University of Central Arkansas. Patty studied dance under the late Glen Irby of Conway and later taught for Irby studios. She took dance at Kansas University and classes under Gus Giordano. She is a member of the National Association of Schools of Dance, Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Lifetime Member of Junior Auxiliary and an Arkansas Delegate for National Dance Week. Patty also served as the Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen Choreographer, where she was named Volunteer of the Year in 2013. Additionally, she serves as the Miss Arkansas Diamonds Director & Choreographer. She and her husband David Tackett have been married since 1977 and they have 3 children, Bryan, Chris and Courtney and two grandchildren, Elaine and Jack.

Throughout the last 20 years, Patty has proudly served and volunteered in the local community with these organizations:

    She is also a lifetime member of Hot Springs Junior Auxiliary, Garden Club, Daughters of American Revolution, Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, and Women’s Chamber.
